PhinC Development has an opening position for a pharmacometrician specialized in Physiologically Based Pharmacokinetics (PBPK) modelling. The position is opened for both recently graduate and junior scientist with a first experience in PBPK modelling. The candidate will be full-time dedicated to modelling activities. In the context of drug development, the use of in vitro-in vivo extrapolation (IVIVE) models has gained significant interest and physiologically based pharmacokinetics modelling is a useful tool which allows the modelling and simulation of drug-drug interaction (DDI) studies of various molecules and scenarios.
The focus will be made on the development and validation of probe substrates (inhibitors and inducers) to support model-informed drug-drug interactions studies.
The candidate will be responsible for:
- PBPK model building and evaluation
- PBPK applications (simulations and extrapolation)
- Data analysis and simulation plan, reports writing
- Presenting PBPK activities to internal/external teams.
You either hold a PhD and/or a master’s degree in a relevant area (PBPK, PK/PD or PopPK modelling, pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences or other related discipline) and have already worked with PBPK modelling software such as GastroPlus, PK-sim Simcyp or any other software. Knowledge in Phoenix WinNonLin, Monolix or NONMEem will be an asset.
You are fluent in speaking and writing English, have good communication and presentation skills, scientific rigor and motivation.
